The 12 Most Valuable Cards in Prismatic Evolutions

Released on January 17, 2025, Prismatic Evolutions is the fourth special expansion pack in the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet series. It is the English counterpart to the upcoming High Class Pack in Japan, titled Terastal Festival .

The Prismatic Evolutions set includes a total of 180 cards , including 32 Special Illustration Rares , 12 Ultra Rares , and 5 Hyper Rares . This set does not contain the regular Illustration Rares .

The main theme of the set is the Eeveelutions , which has led the collector community to rate this set as the “ new version of Evolving Skies ”! With the brand new “Sunbreon” SIR card, along with brilliant Special Illustration Rares of other Eeveelutions, plus the supposedly low rare draw rate, this set promises to be a hit.

Prismatic Evolutions is also the first English set to introduce the Poké Ball and Master Ball reverse holo patterns seen in Pokémon 151 Japan , in addition to the “regular” reverse holo pattern, creating a total of three types of reverse holos to collect. It is also the second English set, after Pokémon 151 EN , to feature God/Demi God Packs – rare booster packs that contain multiple valuable cards at once. Players may be lucky enough to draw a pack containing an Eevee Master Ball Reverse Holo along with all nine Eevee and Eeveelution SIR cards , or a pack with three random SIRs .
